On foundations built over 25 years as a Scientist and Teacher, Andy has spent the last 18 months working on how to make the best use of Artificial Intelligence, in the form of an Adaptive Learning System, within the learning environment.
Working alongside academics, system developers, and content specialists, Andy’s focus has been on exploring, devising and developing pedagogical techniques and practices that magnify the capacity of a teacher who is supported by AI, and which allow learners to make as much progress as their individual talents and motivation make achievable.
In a field which both technologically and pedagogically, is at an incipient stage, Andy has an insight into the why what, and how of AI’s role in Education which offers delegates a rare opportunity to learn about what really works, not just what might.
