Howard Rose is a highly motivated individual with over 15 years of business experience running his own business which he has now successfully adapted to fit in with his role as Director of Funding & Publicity in an Ofsted Outstanding Primary School.
He took on a newly created role both within the school and the education sector; he has developed this role from conception to what is now considered an essential position in his school.
By developing new business relationships within the local community, tapping in to grants and negotiating sponsorship deals, he has raised considerable amounts of money and raised the profile of the school.
Well known both in the local community and the wider borough for his work Howard has won awards for his work with the school which include, The Chamber of Commerce Business in Education Partnership Award in 2015, Solihull Observer Business person of the Month in August 2016, as part of the Super 6, and he also scooped Solihull Business Person of the Year in November 2016 as well as the Solihull Observer and Marriott Forest of Arden Business Person 2017.
Howard has developed his role over the last four years and regularly gives talks at networking events and conferences, and also writes for a national schools magazine, FundEd, that goes out to to 10,000 schools.
