Julie McCulloch is ASCL’s Primary and Governance Specialist. She leads for the organisation on all aspects of primary education, and on governance-related issues across both the primary and secondary phase.
Julie previously worked for many years at Pearson, initially publishing teaching and learning resources for primary schools, and more recently leading their work on UK policy and thought leadership. She has written two research papers, one on the role of subjects in primary education, and one on the benefits of social media in teacher professional development. Julie is an experienced school governor, a trustee of a multi-academy trust and a board member of the Cambridge Primary Review Trust.
